BALLER LEAGUE SET TO LAUNCH IN THE
UK AND THE US IN 2025
Global superstars KSI and IShowSpeed will be at the helm of the UK and US
leagues respectively and UK team managers include Gary Lineker, Alan
Shearer and Micah Richards, Luis Figo, Miniminter and Angry Ginge.

A new form of forward-thinking and hyper-exciting football is to be launched in the UK and US early next year and has already attracted some of the biggest names in the game with football legends Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer and Micah Richards, Jens Lehmann, Robert Pires, and Freddie Ljungberg, John Terry and Luis Figo as team managers in the UK, and Brazilian legend Ronaldinho involved in the US league.
Baller League, described as a “new era for football,” is a competitive six-a-side football league that combines the traditional game with a “back to the roots” style of play with new rules to excite fans. In its first two seasons in Germany it has attracted a massive following, and is being supported in the UK and US by a host of major social media stars.
KSI will be the President of the UK league and IShowSpeed will be President of the US Baller League.
The concept has been developed by Baller League CEO, Felix Starck, who says: “Baller League is a brand new way to consume football. We’re redefining how the game is played by bringing an exhilarating and authentic approach to football, and one that will appeal to current fans along with future generations.
“Baller League is all about forward-thinking, aggressive, hyper-exciting football. We’re about creating a version of the game that’s impossible to ignore – thrilling, bold and packed with excitement.”
So far, the UK game has added eight high-profile managers, or manager-teams who will lead one of the 12 sides. Alongside the former players, other UK team managers include Sidemen members Miniminter and Tobi, gaming streamer and content creator Angry Ginge, and YouTuber Sharky.
Managers will be responsible for selecting the players who will represent their teams, with Baller League providing a stage for street football whilst giving talent a second
chance in which to perform. Anyone can apply to play – former academy players, street ballers, free agents, futsal players, recently retired professionals or semi professionals- with trials being held in London and Manchester.
Social media star Chunkz will be the host each week for people watching the live stream in the UK.
More announcements on the four remaining UK teams and also the US edition will be made soon.

Baller League’s first UK match-day will be held in March 2025 with the final event in May. All matches will be played in London. Tickets for each match-day, held in an indoor arena, will be available to purchase with full details on how to be announced. Each game of Baller League will also be free to watch with live streams on Twitch and YouTube.
