SOUTHERN ALT ROCKER WILLY COBB SHARES THE OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR “CIGARETTE SMELL”

Currently on tour in the UK with The Cadillac Three, genre-busting, southern alt rocker Willy Cobb recently released his debut single “Cigarette Smell” which was the followed by Country Punkin via War Buddha / Warner Records. Today he shares the official video for ‘Cigarette Smell’ which contains footage of his lives shows in recent months around the UK and US. Watch it HERE.
 
Willy explains, “It’s been sick seeing people sing and clap along to Cigarette Smell on the road since releasing it, been playing shows across the UK and US this year grabbing great film and thought it’d be rad to get some live shots for the music video.“
 
 
“Cigarette Smell,” garnered widespread critical acclaim on it’s initial release with Rolling Stone touted it among “All the Songs You Need to Know This Week.” Plus, NOTION sat down with him for an in-depth interview and professed, “the single sees Willy Cobb at his best.” 
 
It is a potent and endlessly replayable introduction to Cobb’s unpretentious style, evincing his infectious combination of irreverence and specificity. He sticks to crisp, suitably absurd imagery all the way through the power chorus: “I bet you hate the way cigarettes smell/I bet you vape all day cause it’s better for ya health.” Channeling White Stripes in their lo-fi era, the track exemplifies the disarming, immediately personable quality that has made Cobb a live phenomenon in Nashville.
 
Following European and UK tour dates with Chris Shiflett of Foo Fighters and The Cadillac Three, the Georgia-reared musician continues a string of live dates in UK & Ireland this month supporting The Cadillac Three.
