Benjamin Ingrosso Releases New Single “Better Days”

London, UK – Friday 5th April 2024: Benjamin Ingrosso follows up his Universal Music debut “Kite” with the arrival of his second single, “Better Days”, out today. The single radiates positivity and is another taste of Ingrosso’s upcoming album, set to arrive later this year. Fans can experience it live on Benjamin’s current UK & European ‘Better Days Tour’.

The pop anthem is penned by Benjamin along with Salem Al-Fakir and Vincent Pontare, and produced by Vargas & Lagola (Avicii, Madonna, Sia, A$AP Rocky, Lady Gaga). Listen HERE.
“Better Days” is about hope, youthful naivety, and longing for things to get better. It somewhat describes my personality – to always want to see the positive and believe that everything will get better. I’ve been holding on to this song for almost 4 years, but all the upcoming songs very much describe my current state of mind, the pursuit of a happy life well spent. I want to spread love,” says Benjamin Ingrosso.
With “Better Days”, Benjamin further unveils his new musical direction where he has taken inspiration from melodies that filled his childhood home. It reflects a mix of older musicals, classic Swedish pop and soul from the 70’s, while also exploring newer musical styles, especially from the late 90s, both musically and visually.

”In the new music, the rawness and dirt of punk has been given more space, and I have consciously chosen not to have a more polished and ‘modern’ sound. ‘Timelessness’ is a key word for everything I’ve tried to create now. The lyrics are more straightforward, written from personal experiences but sometimes with a broader perspective. I don’t think I’ve ever been as excited about my music as I am with this song, and all the new music you’re going to get from me this year.”

Benjamin Ingrosso’s debut single “Kite” has racked up over 11 million global streams since its arrival earlier this year. With over 30,000 airplays across 500 international radio stations, “Kite” has made its mark on airplay charts. The track has also garnered over 88,000 Shazams, reaching chart peaks in multiple countries. In February, Ingrosso was officially announced as an ‘Apple Music Up Next Nordics’ artist, solidifying his status as an emerging force from Universal Music in 2024.

With over 850 million streams, an impressive collection of Gold and Platinum certified singles, and three full-length albums that all topped the charts, Benjamin Ingrosso has established himself as one of Sweden’s biggest names in music. His versatile musical expression, showcased in several acclaimed collaborations, has been compared to iconic artists such as Bruno Mars and George Michael.

This year, it’s finally time for Ingrosso to get back on the road with his magnificent “Better Days Tour 2024” which kicked off earlier this year in Germany and made its way through the Netherlands, as well as a sensational headline performance at Heaven in London, UK last night. The tour continues into Paris, France, cities across Germany, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Spain and Finland before heading for a mammoth summer run in Sweden.
