Picture This return with their new single “Come Back Baby”, a heartfelt song about loving someone enough to encourage them to follow their dreams, while quietly hoping they find their way back home.

The stripped-back sound of “Come Back Baby” marks a departure from Picture This’ recent big pop productions, offering a first hint of what could be to come from the band’s next releases.

Listening to Ryan Hennessy’s intimate vocal feels as though we’re being allowed into something deeply personal, as the songwriter reflects on a past love he had to let go. Delicate vocals, wrapped in guitar and piano, paint a beautiful picture of longing, heartbreak and loss.

At its heart lies the song’s defining refrain: “Come back baby, the same way that you left.” The line captures the emotional tension at the centre of the song: loving someone enough to let them go, while still hoping they will find their way back.

In Ryan’s own words:

“A song about trying to be brave enough to let somebody go and follow the old cliché that if you truly love them, then you will do so, but being faced with the reality that you are a hopeless, boundless lover who leads totally with the heart in spite of the head. It is a song of longing. A song of yearning.”

With its heartfelt lyrics and emotional immediacy, “Come Back Baby” shows a more intimate side of Picture This, allowing the emotion and songwriting to take centre stage.

The release arrives ahead of Picture This’ upcoming European, UK and Ireland tour, which kicks off in Austria on October 23rd and includes two nights at London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town on 19th and 20th November 2026.
