ACCLAIMED JAPANESE ACTOR GO AYANO STARS IN THE MUSIC VIDEO
MILLENNIUM PARADE has released the official music video for“Blue,” the band’s first new single in nearly two years.
“Blue” serves as the ending music for the TV anime THE GHOST IN THE SHELL and features internationally acclaimed artists Saya Gray and Daniel Caesar. The song was originally written by Daiki Tsuneta and Saya Gray approximately three years ago, before Daniel Caesar joined the project to complete the track.
Directed by OSRIN and Shu Sasaki, the music video is MILLENNIUM PARADE’s first live-action visual since the band’s name change. The film explores the longing for youth and innocence that gradually fades with adulthood, ultimately portraying the journey of accepting that loss and finding the strength to move forward.
Acclaimed Japanese actor Go Ayano also appears in the music video, reuniting with MILLENNIUM PARADE for the first time since their collaboration on the “FAMILIA” music video.
