The welcome return is joined by the tour announcement which celebrates 10 years of LP’s iconic album, ‘Lost on You’ . On the headline shows, LP will be performing songs from their upcoming album plus a special set playing ‘Lost on You’ in its entirety honoring the 10th Anniversary. Of the track, LP explains: “The first single is a real life song about a real life friend named Shelly. It’s the first time I’ve done such an intimate portrait of a friend in a song. I was in the studio with my producer Mike Del Rio when I got a call from Shelly to catch up and it sparked a whole story. Life is beautiful.”
LP became a global phenomenon in 2017 with the song “Lost On You,” which reached #1 in 18 countries and surpassed 1 billion Spotify streams. Since then, they have amassed more than 3 billion streams across platforms and performed to sold-out crowds in more than 150 cities around the world. LP now has over 9 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone Today, LP’s music reaches over 1M daily streams worldwide, with 2M+ daily YouTube views. And, though their captivating and explosive performances enthral audiences of all cultures, languages, and backgrounds, songwriting remains the core of LP’s artistic expression. “Songwriting is a way for me to go to the centre of my own world,” LP explains, “and find the originality I needed to get for myself.” In fact, LP’s start in music came as a songwriter for pop giants, including Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, and Celine Dion.
