London Records and Nordoff and Robbins have collaborated to launch an extremely limited edition minifigure bauble to commemorate the song’s special milestone, and to raise vital funds for the charity. Each bauble features four minifigures dressed in handmade replicas of the iconic white parka jackets, complete with furry hoods, caps, and microphones, and pays homage to the unforgettable ‘Stay Another Day’ video. The partnership also continues with the release of a special edition ‘Stay Another Day’ Christmas card in partnership with cardfactory. The UK’s leading specialist retailer of greeting cards, dressings and gifts are now stocking the card in all of their 1000+ UK stores as well as via www.cardfactory.co.uk. The card is priced at £1.49 with 25p from the sale of each card donated to Nordoff and Robbins. These two new Christmas treats follow the news that two special edition ‘Stay Another Day’ 7” vinyl formats will be released on December 13th. An ice clear vinyl has already sold-out to the most engaged East 17 fans via Spotify Fans First, while a snow-white vinyl is now available to pre-order HERE. The b-side of both versions features a previously unreleased live version of the song from East 17’s 1995 ‘Letting Off Steam’ arena tour.
In addition, Tony will perform a special rendition of ‘Stay Another Day’ at the Nordoff and Robbins Carol Service at St. Luke’s Church, London on Tuesday, December 10th.Also featuring festive performances from Jamie Cullum and Lemar, tickets for the event are available HERE.
