Vince Freeman is a grafter. Musician, song writer, Barista. Starting out his music career some ten years ago or more, Vince supplemented his income and paid for his fledgling music career with beans….Coffee beans to be precise! Also a Barista by trade, Vince invested in a coffee van and took it to festivals around the country, serving coffee and delighting customers with impromptu performances of his songs. Vince was always destined for more and whilst gazing at the main stage over the froth and steam he was certain that one day he would be performing on it. Fast forward to this year and Vince has been able to unleash his raw and extremely evident talent on festival main stages all Summer. Supporting Van Morrison at Forest Fest, performing at Lakefest before Olly Murs and now heading out on a Nationwide tour with Scouting for Girls.

Vinces’ lucky break soon came with the 2019 hit Sun Is Shining by Lost Frequencies, which he sings and penned the vocals for one Summer between shifts in his coffee van, earning him a Platinum disc for his vocal performance. A country music song-smith, full of soul, with a rock n roll heart, and a voice that sings the blues, Vince Freeman effortlessly bridges a multitude of genres. He applied for BBC’s The Voice and soon made his mark, becoming a two time Indy Award winner. Vince Freeman’s unmatched vocal prowess, exceptional song-writing talent and commanding stage presence has subsequently captivated audiences around the world. He’s had 5 European Top 10s for his vocal and writing contributions, including for Devils a European smash he sings vocals on and co-wrote with Fedde Le Grande in 2021.
Vince also has a brilliant genre defying album, ‘Scars Ghosts and Glory ‘due for release on 11th Oct inspired by experiences from the coffee van, to TV fame, International club stardom and a chronic illness he battled and overcame throughout, Vince is now back where he belongs, having amassed over 350 live performances already this year leading up to his album release.
Vince Says: “The Sun Is Shining Down – A song of recovering from chronic illness and appreciating the little things…blessed by the sunshine to be able to enjoy festivals, Summertime and lucky breaks! It hasn’t always been easy, but you just have to keep getting up and putting on the coffee!”
