Sunday night at Sheffield City Halls features live music from Irish singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot.
Before we get to Cian, we are greeted by James Mcvey (The Vamps), who opens the evening with a mix of his solo music, a Vamps classic and two Taylor Swift songs, which went down in a very loud appreciation from the sold-out audience.
Half an hour set from James was a taster of what you can expect from his solo shows coming up very soon. See James’ Instagram for the dates in full and all his other updates.
Now, on to the main man of the night, the incredibly talented Mr Cian Ducrot, who, from the start of his set to the very last song, kept the excited audience wanting more.
Opening his set with the album title track ‘Victory’ and closing it with ‘I’ll be Waiting’, every other song in between was spectacularly performed, Including, ‘All For You’ Stepdad, ‘How Do You Know’ ‘Heaven’ and ‘Him’ from Piano to guitar and the Flute; Cian, I am pretty sure there is nothing he can’t do. His vocals, Live, just on another level.
The Sheffield Choir was out in force!
Hearing those songs come alive in such an intimate venue was something else, he leaves you wanting more.
