THE MUSIC VIDEO FOR “UNLOVABLE” PREMIERES AT 5PM HERE
Rising British singer and songwriter Lewis Fitzgerald, drops his first offering of the new year with the candid new single ‘Unlovable’ – out today via Relentless Records, alongside a music video directed by Ben Stonely.
Co- written and produced by industry heavyweights Matt Rad (One Direction & Demi Lovato), Marlon Roudette (Mabel & Kranium), Svon (Maybel, James Blunt), Mojam (Emeli Sande,’ Aitch), ‘Unlovable’ is packed with alt pop innovation and R&B styled production, recounting a poisonous relationship that forces Lewis to delve into his deepest insecurities. With an accompanying new music video, the striking cinematography never breaks its focus from Lewis as the surrounding downpour parallels his inner pain. Introspective and heart-breaking, ‘Unlovable’ showcases Lewis’ unapologetic exploration of emotional torment and continues to carve a defining path for this young home-grown talent.
The latest in a string of back-to-back single releases, ‘Unlovable’ follows on from the success of recent singles ‘Clarity’ and highest streaming track to date ‘Darling’, which racked up over 2.7 million global streams and more than 6.7 million views on TikTok, alongside ‘Short Ride’ ft. GRM Rated Award nominee Wewantwraiths and ‘Number 74’ from his debut EP in 2023.
Growing a dedicated online fanbase through a series of live streams and fan engagement, Lewis has earnt co-signs from the likes of Kiss FM, Mollie King’s Future Pop Radio 1, Notion, GRM Daily, BBC London, MTV, SBTV, and a soon to be released Mahogany session, performing titular EP track ‘Our House’alongside the new single.
Lewis continues to be a mainstay of ‘one to watch’ critical attention having been selected for Shazam’s Predictions for 2024 playlist.
A musician who’s raw and compelling music is commanding attention, and fresh off the back of supporting Mackenzy Mackay in Manchester and London at the end of last year, Lewis is set to ascend to new heights in 2024.
