N-DUBZ RE-BOOK VIRAL POP SENSATION ERIN BLOOMER
FOR BRIGHTON & MARGATE SHOWS!
Following the last minute cancellation of their show at The Incora Country Ground in Derby, N-Dubz save the day by re-booking viral sensation Erin Bloomer for two more shows in the South East, Friday 7 July in Stanmer Park in Brighton and Saturday 8 July in Margate.
Erin and her band were due to play at the N-Dubz summer performance in Derby a week ago as the 3rd headliner, the biggest performance of her career, but N-Dubz cancelled the show after a difference of opinion with the Promoter.
Erin says, “I found out when I was in the middle of rehearsals with my band at The Premises Studios on Hackney Road, only a few days before to the event and I was completely gutted at the lost opportunity. But N-Dubz heard about my disappointment and saved the day. They offered for me to perform at not just one, but two other venues in the South East, Fri 7th July in Brighton and Saturday 8th July at Margate, and I could not be more excited! I’m so grateful for the opportunity – it’s going to be my two biggest shows to date!
Erin’s star is rising and the world is taking notice, with her velvety vocals and diaristic writing style, she recently released her infectiously catchy single ‘Wasted It On You’
Speaking of the show, Erin says, “It’s beyond exciting to be supporting an act that I’ve been listening to since I was small. I used to watch Tulisa on X Factor so sharing a stage with N-Dubz is kind of mind blowing, it’s a pinch me moment I’m never gonna forget!”
Based in London, the Sussex-born break-out star Erin Bloomer cites Dua Lipa, SZA and Doja Cat as her musical influences, penning her first song aged 14 and quickly garnering online support from a growing following on social media. She uploaded a drive-with-me clip of breakup-song ‘F U & F Her Too’ onto TikTok, and a viral hit was born. Receiving millions of views from young women who resonated with Erin’s candour and diaristic writing style, ‘F U & F Her Too’ captured the mood of Gen Z and the instinctive feeling of resentment when you are cheated on, entering the Spotify viral UK chart and hit #25 on iTunes chart on the day of release.
It wasn’t long before she caught the ear of BBC Radio 1. The renowned radio station recognized her potential and scouted her to sing their power intros, introducing mainstream artists to a national audience on a daily basis. In 2020, Erin released her debut Cherrygirl3101 EP, which gained attention from dance producers Imanbek and Rasster and EMI/Universal hand picked her to vocal the popular ‘SAD XXX’ remix’, which now has a huge 150 million combined streams. The track swiftly shot up the charts and has since become a staple on playlists and radio stations around the globe.
