After spending much of the first half of 2021 in producer mode, producer and rapper Ayo Beatz releases his first official video of the year, “Habits” with Wes Nelson. Ayo and Wes cemented their creative bond when Ayo Beatz produced Wes’ first two singles, “See Nobody” (which peaked at #2 in the Official Charts and is now sitting pretty at over 80 million streams globally) and “Nice To Meet Ya” (instant debut Top 40 UK record and going on to chart highly in multiple territories around the world.).
Built on the backbone of a booming, heavyweight bass line and rippling trap snares, “Habits” is guaranteed to become a summer anthem. It opens with a beaming guitar before switching to a rolling, low end rumble as Ayo and Wes go toe-to-toe, throwing party-starting rhymes back and forth with a Migos and Travis Scott-esque rowdiness. As ready for the clubs as it is for the charts, you can expect to hear this on dancefloors and radio playlists around the world.
Speaking on the new single and what the future holds, Ayo says:

The story goes that while working on “See Nobody” and “Nice To Meet Ya”, Ayo played Wes the instrumental from “Habits” and Wes was instantly on board with it — and it’s easy to see why.
