NASHVILLE, TN. — (27th September, 2024) — Rising country artist Wyatt Flores released his brand new song “Oh Susannah” yesterday, which is now available to stream here, alongside a powerful music video. This is the latest track unveiled from Flores’ highly anticipated full-length debut album, Welcome To The Plains, out October 18 via Island Records. Pre-save the album here.
Reflecting on the song, Flores shares, “The story behind this song is just me having to take a mental break back in February and coming back to it all realizing that I need to take care of myself before I can even think about taking care of others, and that’s all I ever wanted to do. So I did have to take a step back and this song is an apology from me to my fans.”
Ahead of the album release, Flores also shared its lead single, “Don’t Wanna Say Goodnight”, which Rolling Stone calls “a powerful, energetic love song,” while Billboard praises, “a sturdy songwriter and vocalist in equal measure. His latest pulses with the raw energy of a full-band sound, thrashing percussion and churning guitars.”

Across these 14 tracks, including songwriting collaborations with Old Crow Medicine Show’s Ketch Secor and Aaron Raitiere, Flores delivers the grounded and sincere storytelling he’s celebrated for, seamlessly blending traditional country and folk sounds.
Of the project, Flores reflects, “It’s an album about home and a search for happiness. It’s an album about Stillwater, Oklahoma, and all the other little towns that have raised people like you and me. It’s an album about my family, and the people and places in my life who have defined who I am today. This album is happy on one side and heartbreak on the other, and whoever you are, I hope you find something you love in here.”
