CLINTON KANE DEBUTS NEWEST SINGLE ‘I DON’T WANNA LIVE IN A WORLD WITHOUT YOU’

RIAA Platinum-certified singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Clinton Kane today released his second track of 2024, “I DONT WANNA LIVE IN A WORLD WITHOUT YOU,’ a heartbreaking yet profoundly hopeful track detailing the loss of a great love and the desire for it to rekindle itself.

A sequel track to “I GUESS I’M IN LOVE,” the emotional and latest single from the burgeoning talent once again delves back into a relationship that had a tremendous impact on him and his definition of love.

Steve Rusch served as producer and cowriter of the song.

Said Clinton: “’I DON’T WANNA LIVE IN A WORLD WITHOUT YOU’ is a very special song to me. Written over 4 years ago, a couple months after I GUESS I’M IN LOVE was released, I consider this song the sequel to I GUESS I’M IN LOVE. It was written about the same girl shortly after we broke up.

The aforementioned ex is in the music video, she directed the music video, and she edited the music video, so we’re clearly on great terms. She’s lovely and I think nothing but the best of her.

I’ve loved this song and championed it for the longest time, timing just never felt right to release it. This song is both a love song and a heartbreak song. It shows the complexities of life and emotions and what a person can feel dealing with a breakup but still having so much love for the other person involved. This release feels very full circle to me, especially with my ex-girlfriend’s involvement in the process. We’re both very proud of this video.”

Accompanying the single is the equally emotive music video, created and edited by the subject of the song, Clinton’s ex girlfriend, who has remained a close friend. A montage of personal videos showcases the love and devotion once felt and serves as a reminder that good things do sometimes come to an end.

Clinton Kane was recently announced as part of the lineup for the inaugural Love Letters Festival in Salt Lake City, Utah. Taking place from September 27 to 29, fans can find more information on lovelettersfest.com. Earlier this year, Clinton performed as part of UCLA’s first-ever Gen Z Wellness Summit. Put on by young people, for young people, the free mental-health event drew over 600 attendees and worked to open the conversation on social media and its influence. More tour dates for later this year will be announced soon.

“I DONT WANNA LIVE IN A WORLD WITHOUT YOU” follows the release of “TIED UP” which debuted in May of this year, and Clinton’s 2023 full-length project AND ALL I LOVED, I LOVED ALONE – listen HERE. Showcasing Clinton’s talent as a co-producer, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter, the body of work draws sonic inspiration from a breadth of genres including obscure house music, the EP features glitchy beat-craft, electronic alchemy, alternative experimentation, and unassuming pop ecstasy.
