Multi-faceted talent METTE has today announced she will be supporting global superstar Taylor Swift at her highly anticipated Wembley Stadium show on June 21st, as part of The Eras Tour.
The announcement comes fresh off the back of METTE’s stunning live performance at the prestigious Ivor Novello Awards last week, where she was nominated for ‘Best Contemporary Song’ for ‘MAMA’S EYES’ – a testament to METTE’s creative excellence in songwriting and her enduring artistic impact. METTE was specially chosen to perform Bennie and the Jets’ in honour of Bernie Taupin who was in attendance, further highlighting her exceptional talent and versatility as an artist. Not stopping there, last week ‘MAMA’S EYES’ was also awarded a Yellow Pencil D&AD Award in both the Music Video and Long Form categories.

2023 was a standout year for METTE who consistently pushed boundaries and garnered widespread acclaim with her debut EP ‘METTENARRATIVE’ which featured singles ‘VAN GOGH’, ‘FOR THE PEOPLE’, and ‘MAMA’S EYES’. Towards the end of last year, METTE performed at The Fashion Awards (often hailed as the UK’s Met Gala) where her magnetic presence and musical prowess took centre stage.
