Leah Kate Music Promotions Interview

Singer-songwriter Leah Kate, the future of pop music, from music, from headline US shows, to supporting. ”Madison Beer” and ”Anne Marie” and her own UK and Europe tour next year, Music Promotions sat down for a chat with Leah to talk all things music.

The last night of the tour at the London 02 arena, How have you found the tour as a whole?

Oh my God, a dream come true. I’ve always been the biggest fan of Anne Marie, so it’s pretty surreal that I get to open for her and be on her tour. I’m super grateful.

Feelings about performing at The London O2 arena?

Kind of freaking out. I’ve always dreamed of performing in this venue. A lot of my idols have performed here, So this is crazy. It hasn’t hit me yet. It’ll hit me tomorrow.

What’s been the favorite memory you’ve had from being on tour? Is there any one thing that kind of sticks out?

Probably just showing up at the O2 today. That was something I’ll never forget.

I’ve been listening to music. There are no artists that sound like you. I think your sound is really distinctive; how would you personally describe your sound?

I would say it’s kind of like nostalgic pop that’s really in-your-face, really bold lyrics. You won’t miss the lyrics. I would say a lot of my influences are like vintage Katy Perry. Lady Gaga. Carly Rae Jepsen, Charli XCX.

You have just announced your own UK tour and you’re on tour for next year. Is there anything you can tell us about it yet? Do you have a vision of how you want it to be?

It’s going to be the best night of your life.

we’re kind of figuring it all out right now, but yeah, the Super Over tour is hitting the UK and Europe, and I don’t think anyone’s ready for it. It’s going to be fun.

Your last album came out in September, have you got any more singles to release from the album, or do you have anything new coming out?

Nothing is planned yet.

I’ll have some new singles and music in the New Year for sure, but right now, just kind of still on the album.

What have been some of your highlights so far?

I would say the Anmarie tour. My US headline tour and

last year I toured with Madison Beer here, which was so much fun. Those have been the best memories, I’d say.

Have you got any plans for next year that you talk about?

Lots of touring, new music and collaborations.

Final messages?

Go stream my album ”Super Over” it’s a fun one.
