LP RELEASES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED EIGHTH STUDIO ALBUM ROOM 12

BRAND NEW SINGLE ‘DON’T STOP’ RELEASED ALONGSIDE THE ALBUM TODAY

WORLD TOUR STARTS THIS WEEK INCLUDING LEGS IN U.S., UK, EUROPE, AND MEXICO, SHOWCASING ROOM 12 AND A DEDICATED SET TO THEIR LOST ON YOU ALBUM IN ITS ENTIRETY TO CELEBRATE ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY

2ND SEPTEMBER 2026 – Multi-platinum artist and singer-songwriter LP (they/them) has today unveiled their highly anticipated eighth studio album, Room 12, alongside latest single ‘Don’t Stop.’ Following the releases of singles ‘Love Is All I Have,’ ‘Best In Life,’ and ‘Mi Corazón,’ Room 12 brings together eleven tracks of exploring love, heartbreak, identity, memory, and self discovery, with LP allowing themselves the freedom to create.

Prior to recording this album, LP took a rare break from touring to reset, spend time at home, and simply live. Away from the constant movement of life on the road, LP found a new approach to songwriting, allowing songs to flow naturally with their trusted collaborators. The result is a record that feels both intimate and expansive, tying together elements of LP’s emotional vulnerability with a genre-defying sound.

Of the album, LP explains:

“Room 12 is a state of mind. A place where experiences become a memory and a memory becomes a story. A place where you go to remember, invent and become. In my travels I have stayed in many rooms, some memorable, some not, but they all become more of a meeting place with myself than anything. A compartmentalization of the mind with rooms you can visit when you need them or when you’re in the mood.”

The album title draws directly from LP’s life on the road, inspired by the various hotel room stays, as they became spaces for self-reflection and creativity. Across the record, each track creates its own world, capturing the experiences from LP’s life.

Today, LP also unveils ‘Don’t Stop,’ amplified along sounds featuring hand-clap sequences and driving guitars; the pop-rock track celebrates the truth of life and love. Written alongside Imad Royal and Chloe Angelides (Lily Allen, Demi Lovato), LP describes the song as “my version of a dance song.”

LP speaks on ‘Don’t Stop’: “‘Don’t Stop,’ is a fun song about keeping  things up and beautiful and not thinking much about it. A memorable summer night  of romance that you guessed it…doesn’t need to stop. I would say it’s just not that deep, but what’s deeper than enjoying another person and letting things flow and bloom for as long as possible.”

Across Room 12, LP explores love, identity and self-discovery, from the Latin-tinged “Shelly”, written and produced with Mike Del Rio and PJ Bianco, to uplifting “Best In Life”, written with Andrew Berkeley Martin and produced by Mike Del Rio and Martin“Love Is All I Have”, written and produced with Mike Del Rio, captures the complexities of a relationship ending, while “Mi Corazón”, written with PJ Bianco and produced by Mike Del Rio, explores LP’s journey of coming out and becoming a musician.

LP’s 2026 continues with their “All Is Not Lost” World Tour, including UK dates at O2 Brixton Academy and Manchester Apollo this November. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Lost on You, the tour will feature songs from Room 12 alongside a special performance of Lost on You in its entirety. A full list of dates can be found here.
