Australian electro-pop artist BEKS releases a brand new remix of fan favourite Melodrama. Teaming up with remixer, LA based DJ VNSSA who recently collabed with Trixie Mattel on a Scissor Sisters cover, and queer pop Spotify cover star and JADE hot tip Bentley Robles who provides extra lyrics & vocals, giving the track a fresh, club-ready twist.
Known for her high-energy performances, unapologetic pop sound and strong connection with LGBTQ+ audiences, BEKS continues to carve out her own space in the electro-pop world, with the new remix bringing her signature sound together with Bentley Robles’ incredible vocals and VNSSA’s infectious electronic production.
BEKS has also just featured as a guest judge on the opening episode of the current season of Drag Race Down Under vs The World, where Melodrama featured as the lip sync battle song, marking another major career milestone for one of Australia’s fastest-rising queer music artists.
The release follows a huge 18 months for the Australian singer-songwriter, whose debut EP Hard Glossestablished her as one of the most exciting new voices in electro-pop. Produced by PALMR and mixed by Tim Rowkins (Lady Gaga, Rina Sawayama), the project earned billboard placement from SoundCloud in London, while fan favourite Melodrama has picked up serious momentum throughout 2026 thanks to viral fan remixes and social media. She is also going viral on social media with her recent track ‘Terf Werk’ supporting Trans rights.
Blending shimmering electro-pop with EDM and guitar-driven rock, BEKS has built an international following through sold-out headline shows across Australia, London and Europe, as well as performances at Mighty Hoopla, London Pride, Sydney Mardi Gras, Amsterdam Pride and numerous LGBTQ+ festivals worldwide. She has also toured with artists including Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Princess Superstar, Madelline and Australian rock icons The Superjesus.
The new Melodrama remix is another exciting moment for a song that has continued to find new life with fans online and has already been picked up by a number of Spotify editorial playlists, including Clubbing in the 2010s, House Party and Club Music, F1 Playlist, Musica Trabajar and Mix 2026. It also landed on Amazon Music Australia’s PROUD playlist.
