“The Scottish singer’s ascent to stardom might be gradual, but it seems undeniable.” – 4/5, The Sun
How best to sum up Nina Nesbitt’s 2022?  Her latest album ‘Älskar’ was her strongest yet, blending both her pop and singer-songwriter leanings with nods to her Scottish and Swedish family heritage and lyrics inspired by empowerment, self-belief and personal experience. Unforgettable highlights kept emerging throughout the album campaign as she exceeded a billion career streams, hit stadiums and jumped on-stage with Coldplay, and completed a UK tour which included packed shows in London and Glasgow. Her vision for the album was also extended with a second volume of tracks for the ‘Älskar Nights (Deluxe Version)’, which includes the brand-new track “Need You’ that has received support at Radio 1 from Clara Amfo.
Nina now celebrates that remarkable headline tour by sharing a new live video of ‘Need You’ which was filmed at her Electric Brixton show. The gig was made all the more special when the song’s featured artist Zion Foster joined her for their first public performance of the track – and the video shows just how much both artists relished the moment. The video was directed by filmmaker and photographer Jon Stone. Watch the live video HERE.

Afterwards, Nina posted, That was one of the best gigs I’ve ever played! Thank you for bringing such amazing energy last night. We all had such an incredible time. My last proper headline tour was in 2019 and after many moments of doubt the past few years, this is such a reminder of why I do this.”

After playing her first Swedish show in support of ‘Älskar’ at the weekend, Nina is currently completing her UK and European headline tour. It calls at Les Etoiles Theatre, Paris (Wednesday) and a long sold-out show at Amsterdam’s Bitterzoet (Thursday) before concluding at Berlin’s Prachtwerk (Friday). Remaining tickets for the tour are available HERE.
