Pop soul newcomer Will Brown has released his new project Welcome To Brownsville today.
Created with producer Ash Howes (Ellie Goulding, James Arthur), Will’s debut EP is a powerful collection of arena-ready pop songs blending pop, soul, folk and gospel, rooted in vulnerability, emotional honesty and hope. The project takes listeners on a clear emotional journey, from heartbreak and reflection to healing and growth.
The project follows Will’s breakthrough single Golden, which was added straight to the BBC Radio 2 playlist upon release. A soulful, uplifting anthem about love’s ability to ease pain and insecurity, the track marked a defining moment for the Kansas-born, London-based artist. Although a relative newcomer to the pop space, he has already had 4 Top Ten UK Pop club hits; radio support across Europe in France, Italy and Spain; a string of sold out live dates and he also performed at the French Euro Village as part of Eurovision 2025. If that wasn’t enough, he also performed ‘Better Man’ on the longest running music TV show in France Taratata, as well as ‘Golden’ being played on Sunday Brunch and performed on BBC Sunday Morning Live. Will has also been having huge wins at UK radio, where he was BBC Radio 2’s ‘New To 2’ and performed on BBC Radio 4’s ‘Loose Ends’ show. Will is joining Jools Holland on tour on the 12th of June in Liverpool, the 13th of June in Coventry and the 10th of July in High Wycombe.
