RISING ALT STAR HANNAH GRAE

 UNLEASHES FIERCE NEW TRACK ‘BITCH’

LISTEN TO ‘BITCH’ HERE

Today 23 year old Port Talbot born artist Hannah Grae makes her first independent release with ‘Bitch’, an alt-pop anthem laced with nostalgic ‘90s attitude and a dreamy indie edge — Listen here. ‘Bitch’ was co-written with Hunter West and produced by Dylan Bauld.

The track heralds a bold new chapter for Hannah, revealing a fearless vulnerability as she explores the messy, consuming side of jealousy. With her piercing vocals, trademark snarling hooks and razor-sharp lyrics, ‘Bitch’ blends raw emotional honesty with gritty pop intensity, delivering an unapologetic statement from one of alt-pop’s most exciting new voices.

Of the track Hannah said:

“Writing ‘Bitch’ felt like the start of something new for me. For the first time I could hear the artist I wanted to be. I’m dramatic, theatrical, self-assured and self-deprecating all at once, and I’d never quite managed to weave all those parts of me into my music. Bitch was when it clicked. It’s a song about jealousy and the way I compare myself to people around me. I wanted to write a song that could dig its teeth into one of my biggest flaws and wave it around like a giant red flag. It isn’t glamorous to admit you hate someone because they have what you want, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth writing about. This song unlocked a version of me that finally feels like myself. That’s the version you’ll be hearing from now on.”

After earning high praise from tastemakers and press including Clash, NME, Dork, Rolling Stone, Kerrang!, Rock Sound, DIY and more, Hannah Grae continues to make waves with her fearless songwriting, powerful vocal ability and raw sound. ‘Bitch’ showcases an up and coming artist fully in control of her sound and vision.

2024 was an explosive year for Hannah Grae, she shared her second body of work, Nothing Lasts Forever, in March. The impressive EP, inspired by the likes of Courtney Love, Green Day, and Hayley Williams, includes fan favourites such as Screw LooseBetter Now You’re Gone’, and TikTok viral smash It Could’ve Been You’Nothing Lasts Forever solidified Hannah’s position as an artist to keep your eye on, as previously affirmed by Rolling Stone UKNME, Dork, and The Independent.

Hannah began captivating online audiences with her rewrites of popular songs and covers posted from her garden shed, resulting in over 343k followers on TikTok and building a dedicated following of 54k on her new YouTube channel. Merging nostalgic elements of Alanis Morrisette, and The Bangles with the coolly irreverent alt-pop sensibilities of Gwen Stefani and The Cardigans, Hannah’s self-taught musical education seats her firmly in the lineage of cross-genre women making musical waves.
