Duncan Laurence returns with an original Christmas song, “Wishes Come True,” out today!
With his expressive tenor, accompanied by piano, he extends a simple yet beautiful invitation on the deeply romantic track –
“Put on your winter coat / I’ll be outside / Meet me under the mistletoe / Baby I’m falling for you / Like snow on a Christmas night / When I’m with you wishes come true.”

“Ever since I was young, I’ve always loved Christmas for the lights, the presents and the food. But as I’ve grown older things hold different value to me,” says Duncan Laurence. “It’s not as much about materialistic things. It’s about the moments we spend together with the people we love most. It’s hard to wish for more when everyone I love is next to me.”
Laurence won the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with “Arcade”– giving a performance that was hailed as “powerful” by The New York Times and “haunting” by The Guardian. With its debut on the Billboard Hot 100, “Arcade” became the first Eurovision Song Contest winner to enter the prestigious U.S.-based chart in 45 years.
Included on his 2020 debut album, Small Town Boy, the track’s continued success affirms its timeless quality. “Arcade” has amassed over four billion combined global streams since its release as a single in 2019. “Arcade” took the No.1 spot on Spotify’s Global Viral chart in 2020, and has attained sales certifications in 37 countries, including Platinum in U.S., Diamond in Mexico and 3x Diamond in Brazil.
Combined views of the various “Arcade” videos – which include a version with FLETCHER, a remix by Sam Feldt and lyric videos in numerous languages – have surpassed 10 billion on YouTube. The 18 million “Arcade” videos on TikTok have more than 40 billion combined views. Laurence performed “Arcade” with a string quartet on “TODAY” and was joined by FLETCHER for a performance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
