Fast-rising DJ and producer Westend has unveiled his house-focused remix of ‘Just For The Times’, the latest single from Everyone You Know and Joy Anonymous. Adding a powerful bassline to EYK and Joy Anonymous’ soaring vocals, the euphoric anthem is set to become one of this summer’s biggest dance records heading into festival season.

26 year old New York City native Westend has solidified his status as an artist to watch. Having previously released records across tastemaker labels including Solotoko, Techne, Club Sweat and Insomniac Records, Westend has received consistent support from global power houses such as Diplo, MK, Gorgon City, Claude Von Stroke, Joel Corry and more. His recent disco anthem ‘Keep on Jumpin’ alongside producer CID was released on Lee Foss’s Repopulate Mars, garnering over 1 million streams and peaking at #2 on Beatport’s overall charts for over 4 weeks.

The original of ‘ Crafted with the dancefloor in mind, the track is destined to soundtrack countless post-lockdown club and festival moments, invoking nostalgia and pulling at the heart strings of its listeners with the hook ‘we’re all going through the same thing’.

EYK have had a rapid rise to success in a short space of time, amassing over 55 million worldwide streams, an explosive 15-date sold out UK tour, as well as a UK mainstage festival debut at Reading & Leeds and a stint as UK brand ambassadors for Reebok. Fusing hip hop, garage, dance and punk, the London based duo cite J Dilla, Dr Dre, The Streets, Wu Tang Clan and Kano amongst their musical inspirations. Rising producer, writer and vocalist Joy Anonymous has been making waves in the UK scene. Drawing influence from house, garage, disco, Joy has been supported by key tastemakers including Annie Mac,Huw StevensMonki, Joe Goddard, and Mistajam. Best known for his notable co-production of the XX’s Remy’s debut single ‘Lifetime’ alongside Fred Again and Jamie XX, 2021 is set to be Joy’s biggest year yet with collaborations set to drop with the likes of Kurupt FM, Mist, Burna Boy, Brittany Howard, George Clinton and more.
