The Shires Online Concert Review

The Shires by Pip for BMG UK

The Shires gave their fans a night of live music, courtesy of online streaming with ‘Stabal’ with concerts on hold right now this is exactly what music fans needed, it was still intimate and a chance to hear The Shires perform some of their songs in a way you haven’t heard before, stripping them back and giving a fresh sound to them.

If you have see The Shires live in concert you will know how good they are live and if you haven’t you should definitely go and check them out on their next tour and also on the ‘Stabal’ platform as you can still watch their concert back for a couple more weeks.

Giving us some of their biggest hits and newer songs from their current album ‘Good Years’ Soon as they started ‘Guilty’ you just instantly want to get up and dance around your living room! same with ‘ A Thousand Hallelujahs’ hearing some songs they haven’t performed for a while or not all all gives a new meaning to their music. ‘Nashville Grey Skies’ another highlight.

Ben and Crissie spoke about the music, gave the stories behind the songs it was a nice way to spend a Saturday evening and get a little taste of normal back with live music in form of an online concert, you still feel a connection to The shires and their music, nothing will ever touch being at an actual venue, connecting with everyone in the audience its in a different league but this was a nice way to feel live music again.

Tickets for the Shires tour are on sale now.

Visit Stabal to watch The Shires online streaming concert now with bonus encore footage.
